महिला व्यक्तित्व विकास प्रशिक्षण शिविर का आयोजन

सहारनपुर – ११ मई ।   बालाजी सोशल वैल्फेयर सोसायटी, जन कल्याण महिला विकास समिति और Personality Development मंच ‘उमंग-तरंग’ के संयुक्त तत्वावधान में आज बालाजी एकेडमी में “महिला व्यक्तित्व विकास प्रशिक्षण  शिविर का आयोजन किया गया।  कार्यक्रम की मुख्य अतिथि डा. कुदसिया अंजुम ने इस अवसर पर प्रतिभागी महिलाओं को जीवन व कैरियर में सफलता के टिप्स देते हुए कहा कि अपनी क्षमताओं को लेकर  आत्म विश्वास मन में हो, हमें जो कहना है, करना है, उसके बारे में हमारा दृष्टिकोण स्पष्ट हो तो हमारी वाणी में प्रभाव स्वयमेव ही आ जाता है।   यदि हम स्वयं ही आशंकित हों कि हम जो कह रहे हैं वह सही है या नहीं तो हम दूसरे को प्रभावित कैसे कर सकते हैं?

इससे पूर्व बालाजी एकेडमी की प्रबन्ध निदेशिका  डा. नीलम ठाकुर व प्रधानाचार्या मीनाक्षी कपूर,  उमंग-तरंग की अध्यक्ष अवनीत कौर व जन कल्याण महिला विकास समिति की महासचिव अनामिका शर्मा और वेद प्रकाश पोपली ने अतिथियों का स्वागत किया और उनका परिचय कराया।   अवनीत कौर ने इस कार्यक्रम के आयोजन के महत्व पर प्रकाश डाला ।   वेद प्रकाश पोपली ने आगे भी ऐसे आयोजन करते रहने का विश्वास दिलाया।

सरस्वती विहार स्कूल में चुनाव

सहारनपुर – ११ मई ।   सरस्वती विहार सीनियर सैकेंडरी स्कूल में अनुशासन, स्वच्छता, नेतृत्व के गुण व विद्यार्थियों में सहयोग की भावना विकसित करने के उद्देश्य से बनी संसद में आज प्रधानमंत्री पद के लिये तीन चरणों में चुनाव सम्पन्न हुआ।  प्रथम चरण में प्रत्येक कक्षा वर्ग से १० विद्यार्थियों ने अपने – अपने आवेदन किये जिनमें से चार – चार अभ्यर्थी नामित किये गये।   दूसरे चरण में चार अभ्यर्थियों के लिये कक्षा में मतदान हुआ जिनमें अधिकतम मत पाने वाले दो अभ्यर्थियों को नामित किया गया।  इस प्रकार विद्यालय में प्रत्येक कक्षा वर्ग से १० अभ्यर्थी सांसद के रूप में चुने गये।

चयनित १० सांसदों द्वारा आज प्रधानमंत्री पद के लिये मतदान किया गया।  प्रत्याशी शिवम गोगिया, पारस महेन्द्रू, मोहित कुमार (सभी कक्षा ११) ।  मतदान के अवसर पर कक्ष में अरविन्द, मेघा सचदेवा, श्रीमती अंजू तनेजा, श्रीमती पियूष प्रभा उपस्थित थे।   विशिष्ट अतिथियों में डा. अमिता अग्रवाल (मुन्ना लाल डिग्री कालेज की अंग्रेज़ी विभाग की विभागाध्यक्ष), प्रधानाचार्य श्री गंगा प्रसाद रुहेला व उपप्रधानाचार्य श्रीमती ममता शर्मा उपस्थित रहे।

Little Angles School

Little students poured their hearts out while preparing greeting cards for their dear mom on the occasion of Mother’s Day.  चलना सीखा मैने, तेरी उंगली पकड़ के मां !
बुढ़ापे में तेरी लाठी बन सकूं ए मां !!

On this day, school also organised a host of musical events, party games and partying.  The Principal Manish Mangal offered his gratitude towards his mother by touching her feet and thus offered his example for the benefit of his students.  He also extracted promises from his students that they won’t ever hurt their mother’s heart.

Pari, Simra, Bhavya, Bhoomi, Ahna, Riddhi, Siddhi, Siya, Lavanya, Ajal, Dolly, Rohani, Dev Manasvi, Peehu  performed a group dance to stole hearts of everyone.  Swati, Nishtha, Praati, Vandana, Radhika, Shweta, Mitushi and other teachers played crucial role in making the program a great success.

M G M’s Kids Heaven School

Various games and competitions were organised by Kids Heaven School also at Bapuji Nagar.  Lemon Rate, Musical Chair, Greeting Card competition etc., were organised in which Samarth, Ojaswi, Farhan, Shikha, Riya, Riyanshi, Aditya, Kartik, Pushkar, Govind, Litika, Nishant, Gunjan, Vanshika, Rohan, Abhimanyu, Mehul, Vansh, Suruchi and many more children participated in songs, dances and games.  The Principal Sadhna Singhal and her school teachers e.g. Preeti, Kangana, Neha shared their experiences and feelings about the importance of mother in their respective life.

The Manager of the School Harsh Singhal congratulated everyone on Mother’s Day and vowed to celebrate the Day year after year.

Jaya Public School

In a fun-filled programme at Jaya Public School, parents, teachers and students interacted through various interesting activities and games.  Poetry and songs in praise of mothers were recited by different students and teachers.  Lemon Race, Musical chair, Public Speaking Competition, Dance competiton also were organised.

The children who participated in the programme included Matansha, Taniya, Bhumi, Aish, Vanshika, Shamka, Abdul, Harshit, Shubhani, Abdulla, Sanjana, Arnav, Yogesh etc.  The Principal of the school Saurabh Gupta congratulated the students and their mothers on Mothers’ Day.   Kavita Saini, Rakhi Dhiman, Monika Chauhan, Niharika Gautam and other teachers actively participated in various events.  The programme was convened by Dipika Madaan.

 

Prize Distribution in DDM Inter College

Saharanpur (9th May)  :  A prize distribution function was organised by DDM Inter College, Vill. Damakadi, Chilkana Road, Saharanpur today in which merit holder students were given away prizes by the Chief Guest Sh. Vinod Giri and Guest of Honour Sh. Ram Mohan Agarwal.

The awardee students in the 11th standard were Shoeb Malik (1st Position) Pratibha Puri (2nd position).  For 9th standard, awards were given to Poorva Saini and Radhika Sharma.  In class VIII, the winners were Vanshika and Rubeen Parveen.

Other position holders included Aditya and Shabia (7th std.),  Vijay Saini and Nagma (6th std.),  Diya Saini and Anchal Saini (5th std.),  Palak Saini and Uvais (3rd) etc.   The highest scorer in the college was Sabinaaz (class IV, 92.5%)

The program was conducted by Vidhi Sharma and Shaina Parveen jointly.  Mr. Samay Singh Saini, Manager of the institution congratulated the children on their success and thanked the parents.

Mothers’ Day Special

Apple Grove School

Saharanpur : 9th May :  Apple Grove School today honoured the mothers by organising a colourful event on the occasion of Mother’s Day.  Ms. Arti Seth, Principal of Apple Grove School welcomed all the guests and emphasised the need of their active participation in all-round growth of their wards.

In the cultural evening, visiting mothers also participated actively in various events e.g. Fashion Show,  Passing the Parcel, Musical Chair etc.,  organised to entertain the guests. Ms. Iti Gupta, Bindu Saini, Ritu Saini Pooja Goyal  got 1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation prizes in Fashion show respectively.  In Passing the Parcel, the winner was Ms. Mala Sharma whereas Consolation prize was taken by Ms. Sundari Singh.  Ms. Sarita Gupta was the winner in Musical Chair game.

Before the games,  the mothers were all praise for the school and wished it all the success in future.  The Welcome song was presented in chorus by a number of students.

Godfield Public School

Saharanpur 10th May :  In Godfield Public School, the program had different hues and  colours.  The first to arrive on stage was the poetess Akankshika, the school teacher who expressed her warm feelings towards ‘MA’.  This was followed by games – One Minute Game (winner – mother of Satyam – UKG,  2nd position holders were mothers of Krishna, Kanika and Vanshika,  3rd prize winners were mothers of Vanshika, Gauri, Prince, Kunal, Gurdeep, Vasu and Anshul).   Ring game competition proved to be highly entertaining for all the mothers.  In Paper Dance competition, mother of Anmol was the undisputed winner, followed by mothers of Keshav and Anshul to hold 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The Principal Ms. Indu Arya, while congratulating all mothers, reiterated the need for all round development of the students and the role of extra-curricular activities in personality development.  She emphasised that mere book worms don’t achieve long lasting success in their lives and all students should take active part in sports and other co-curricular activities also.  Mothers would be able to motivate their children much if they participate in such activities themselves.

The success of the event was ensured through active participation by Madhu Bhalla, Archana Bisht, Akankshika, Sandhya, Archana, Hina, Himani, Kirti, Poonam, Kavita, Smriti, Preeti, Deepti, Shashi, Priyanka, Megha, Ankur, Vikas, Mahendra and other teachers of the school.

Principals Demand Equal Salary

Saharanpur (9th May)   All retiring principals of Saharanpur will be honoured at Bhuteshwar Inter College, Saharanpur on 11th May 2013 at 11.00 a.m.  in the presence of MLC Mr. Hem Singh Pundir.  Talking to the reporters, Mr. Satyaveer Singh Arya, Principal of Bhuteshwar Inter College and Secretary of U.P. Pradhanacharya Parishad, Saharanpur Chapter also informed that the Guest of Honour would be Smt. Manju Sharma, Jt. Director, Education,  Mr. Kamta Pal, DIOS Saharanpur,  Mr. Kulbhushan Kumar Jain, Divisional Chairperson of the Parishad.

The Parishad also pressed its demand for revision of pay for the Principals of High Schools so that the same would be at par with the pay of principals of Higher Secondary Schools.

The Principals who participated in the meeting included Sh. S.S. Rajput, Sh. Rajiv Ranjan, Sh. S.B. Tyagi, Sh. Education-for-All Rally at Sarsawa

Sarsawa : 9th May –  Students and teachers of Primary and Higher Secondary School, Kumharheda (Sarsawa)  tried to wake up parents who do not send their children to schools by organising a rally under Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan.   Smt. Saroj Bala, Gram Pradhan, waved green flag to mark start of the rally.  Parents were urged by the teachers and students to get their wards admitted into the schools by 31st May.

“Geeta, Bible aur Quran – Sabse Pahle Akshar Gyan”  was the most favourite slogan of the rallysts.  The Head Master of the school Mr. Suresh Kumar and Higher Secondary School Principal Smt. Iqbal Khatoon informed that attempts are being made to enroll all such non-school going children who fall within 6-14 age bracket.  The Govt. will distribute uniform, books and scholarship on the basis of admissions done by the end of May only.

Mr. Khagendra Nath, Smt. Ritu Goel, Shiksha Mitra Shabeena Parveen, Reena Devi, teachers Smt. Meena Sharma, Shahin Akhtar, Nahid Akhtar, Smt. Vandana and Smt. Urmila were spotted among others in the rally.

Govt. Hostels for sportspersons

Saharanpur :  9th May.   The selection process for allotment of state-run hostels to the eligible sports-persons has been initiated on 9th May at Saharanpur by Regional Sports Office in which trials at divisional level were conducted for boys participating in Badminton and cricket.   The Regional Sports Officer Ms. Santosh Rawat  informed the media persons that total 22 sportspersons had participated in the trials out of which Mohd. Shahban, Durgesh Kumar, Gaurav Verma, Arjun Singh, Mohd. Shaban, Mayank Sharma, Ashu Kashyap, Shubham Kumar, Kapil Kumar, Abhishek Ahlawat, Shivam Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Moin Rao, Rohit Baliyan from cricket and Vikrant Pundir, Akshat Tomar and Rishabh Kumar from badminton were selected.

The above candidates short-listed in division-level trials will now undergo state-level trials. Trials from cricketers will be in Kanpur between 14th and 17th May and for badminton players trials will begin in Lucknow on 14th through 15th May.

The team of selectors included Ms. Santosh Rawat Regional Sports Officer, Sh. Kashi Naresh & Smt. Kalpana Kamal Asstt. Coach, Sh. Lal Dharmendra Pratap, Sh. Gaurav Thakur, Sh. Anshul Kumar and Sh. Abdul Ahad.

सहारनपुर २१ अप्रैल –  आज के दौर में जबकि नौकरी पाने के लिये प्रतिस्पर्द्धा कठिन और अधिक कठिन होती जा रही है,  सहारनपुर के छात्र-छात्राएं महानगरों की तुलना में किसी भी ढंग से कमतर साबित न हों, यह उद्देश्य लेकर द सहारनपुर डॉट कॉम ने सहारनपुर के युवाओं को कैरियर को संवारने हेतु प्रशिक्षण का अभियान हाथ में लिया है, जिसके अन्तर्गत आज सरस्वती इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ मैनेजमैंट टैक्नोलोजी के छात्र-छात्राओं के लिये संस्थान के परिसर में कैरियर काउंसिलिंग कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया।  द सहारनपुर डॉट कॉम के संस्थापक संचालक सुशान्त सिंहल, जो शिवालिक बैंक में मानव संसाधन विभाग के प्रमुख भी हैं, ने कार्यशाला में भाग ले रहे बीबीए, बीसीए, एमबीए, एमसीए, पीजीडीबीएम तथा पीजीडीसीए के छात्र-छात्राओं को बताया कि वह जो तकनीकी जानकारी प्राप्त कर रहे हैं, वह तो आवश्यक है ही, उसके अलावा व्यवहार कुशलता एवं कार्यकुशलता का महत्व भी बहुत अधिक है।  उन्होंने सिम्त संस्थान के छात्र-छात्राओं की कैरियर संबंधी अनेकानेक जिज्ञासाओं का समाधान करते हुए बताया कि नौकरी चाहने वाले प्रत्याशियों के सम्मुख सबसे बड़ी चुनौती यह होती है कि वह पहले ही राउंड में बाहर न हो जायें इसके लिये उनको क्या क्या करना चाहिये। Continue reading

Fire fighting training at KLG Public School

Observing Fire-fighting week, KLG Public School and AFS Sarsawa provided training to the students of 11th and 12th standard. The Fire Control Officer explained and demonstrated for the benefit of the students various ways in which they may fight against different kinds of fire while keeping themselves safe.  The students were told that by the time fire fighting team arrives after being  summoned by calling at 101 number, fire has to be controlled so as to cause minimum loss to property and lives.  The students were given the demonstration for using fire-extinguishers and were explained different agents such as sand, water, Carbon dioxide required for fighting fire caused by different inflammable items.

The Principal Manoj Awasthi thanked the visiting officers for imparting highly useful and life-saving knowledge to his students.

B.Sc. 3rd year Botany Practicals on 20th April
